Jelil Bouraoui is the Office Managing Partner of Andersen in Tunisia. He has 45 years of experience in business development, specifically in enterprise risk management, business planning, income tax and financial analysis.
As founder and Office Managing Partner, Jelil is responsible for the high-level management of Andersen in Tunisia. His responsibilities include corporate strategy, planning, and overseeing all tax and corporate advisory activities.
He is a former member of Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Andersen. He is a chartered accountant, member of the Order of Chartered Accountants in Tunisia, and the founder of Jelil Bouraoui & Associés established in 1981.
Throughout his carrier, Jelil's experience includes working at the national and international levels. He was a former Vice President of the Tunisian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a member of the Independent Selection Panel (ISP) for the IFAC - DFID PAO capacity building Program, and a member of the Executive Board of IACE, an Institute of CEOs of main Tunisian Companies.
Jelil was a former IFAC board member from 2008 to 2013, and he is also a past member of the PAFA board. He frequently moderates and speaks in many professional conferences in the region.
Jelil is the honorary consul of Estonia in Tunisia since 2007, a founder and President of the Tunisian Association of Honorary Consuls, and a board member of the FICAC (International Federation of Honorary Consuls).
