Qatar has been a member country of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) since its establishment in May 1981. Located strategically between Asia and Middle East, Qatar occupies the Northern Peninsula located in Arabian Peninsula. Almost 80% of the population in located in the capital city of Doha, which is well connected to the rest of the world through ports and international airport.
During the last decade, Qatar has opened the doors for foreign investments and direct participation of investors by bringing in multiple entry routes. Primarily known for its gas reserves, Qatar is also trying to promote sustainability, self-sufficiency, and overall growth.
