Aisling Donohue, a Partner at Andersen in Ireland, a member firm of Andersen Global, was recently quoted in an article in the Economics section of Bloomberg Online. The article, titled Irish Tax Fight Erupts as Web Summit Founder Turns Up the Heat, focuses on Paddy Cosgrove's opinions of the tax system in Ireland. In the article, Aisling gave her perspective on Paddy's approach and tactics on helping others to reduce the amount of tax they give each year.

The article discusses how Paddy Cosgrove, a well-known figure in Europe's technology industry, has a campaign that he hopes will help others to reduce their tax bills. The campaign started during an important time for Ireland, as the European Union (EU) is increasing their tax awareness and preventing global companies from attempting to reduce their tax bills. Aisling commented that Paddy raised valid issues but the some of the structures that he highlighted in his campaign were null when EU authorities saw the consequences of those structures.

Andersen is the Irish member firm of Andersen Global. Andersen Global is an international association of legally separate, independent member firms comprised of tax and legal professionals around the world. Established in 2013 by U.S. member firm Andersen Tax LLC, Andersen Global now has more than 4,500 professionals worldwide and a presence in over 144 locations through its member firms and collaborating firms.
