Albert Désiré is the office managing partner at Andersen in Cameroon and the deputy head of the Central Africa sub-region of Andersen Global. He is also a member of the African Board of Directors of Andersen.
With over 19 years of professional experience, he is a seasoned CEMAC-certified tax and legal advisor allowed to work across Central Africa.
Albert began his career in 2007 at the Notary Public’s Chambers of Maître Marceline ENGANALIM as the first Clerk, where he honed his expertise in OHADA business law, particularly in corporate law, legal structuring and transactional matters. He then joined Deloitte and Touche Cameroon, where he served as a senior tax and legal advisor. His trajectory continued at Brain Consulting as a tax and legal manager. After that, he rose to the position of country lead at Centurion Law Group Cameroon, where he spearheaded high-level legal, tax, and regulatory engagements in the energy and naturals resources sector.
In 2021, Albert established Phoenix Advisory LTD, now Andersen in Cameroon, which officially became a member firm of Andersen Global in 2026.
He conducted various training programs including Tariff Modelling and the structure of Power Purchase Agreements, organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the Italian Foundation Res4Africa, and the Government of the Republic of Cameroon.
He presents seminars on tax and legal hot issues including innovations introduced by annual finance laws, tax and customs incentives, and amendments to the OHADA corporate law. Dedicated to addressing client’s’ issues, he keeps supporting well established multinationals with satisfactory results, while attending international trainings to sharpen his skills and capabilities.
