Jae Wook Yoo is a managing director at Andersen Consulting in Korea. With more than 30 years of management consulting experience, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in numerous industries in the Korean market, and has built strong client relationships with C-suite management at both conglomerate companies and small to medium-sized enterprises. He focuses on new business development, investment funding, and cross-border deal sourcing.
Prior to joining Andersen, Jae Wook was the founder and chairman of Nemo Partners, the largest domestic grown consulting firm in South Korea. In his 25 years at Nemo, he grew the firm significantly to provide corporate advisory services on management issues including strategy, human resources/organization, operational innovation, etc., as well as providing business support services such as overseas expansion and localization, new business development, investment attraction, and mergers and acquisitions. Before founding Nemo Partners, Jae Wook gained diverse experience in strategy and finance while working at strategy consulting firms and investment banking firms, including Monitor Company, AT Kearney, and Goldman Sachs.
Jae Wook plays a key role in various social gatherings, including military, high school/university/graduate school alumni networks and business associations. Currently, he is focused on advising early-stage companies, coaching successors of businesses, sourcing deals for M&A and investments, and matching suitable companies for strategic partnerships.
