Jae Wook Yoo is a managing director at Andersen Consulting in Korea. With more than 30 years of management consulting experience, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in numerous industries in the Korean market, and has built strong client relationships with C-suite management at both conglomerate companies and small to medium-sized enterprises. He focuses on new business development, investment funding, and cross-border deal sourcing.

Jae Wook has advised and assisted on mergers and acquisitions deals valued in excess of USD 1.5 billion. He supported the sale of Grand Hyatt Seoul which was valued at Korean Won 730 billion.

Prior to joining Andersen, Jae Wook was the founder and chairman of Nemo Partners, the largest domestic grown consulting firm in South Korea. In his 25 years at Nemo, he grew the firm significantly to provide corporate advisory services on management issues including strategy, human resources/organization, operational innovation, etc., as well as providing business support services such as overseas expansion and localization, new business development & operations, investment attraction, and mergers and acquisitions.

Jae Wook’s broad client base in the private equity space facilitated the successful execution of due diligence projects across a wide range of industries. He has close networks with the senior management at leading alternative investment firms, as well as the founding families of many Korean conglomerates.

Currently, Jae Wook focuses on new business development, investment funding, and cross-border deal sourcing.
