Bill Long is a managing director in the Andersen US National Tax (USNT) practice in the Boston office. He has over 15 years of experience advising clients on corporate tax consulting and compliance matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Bill specializes in tax attribute (e.g., net operating loss or NOL) planning to assist clients in modeling the utilization of tax attributes, including the application of limitation provisions under IRC Section 382 and related code sections.
In addition to leading full-scope Section 382 studies for clients, he also assists with sell-side and buy-side due diligence projects where tax attribute carryovers are present.
