Katja Weberpals is a partner at Andersen in Germany. She advises on mergers and acquisitions with a focus on venture capital transactions. She advises on start-up financings in all phases (early stage and later stage), in particular, by equity and convertible instruments, as well as exits, secondaries and employee participation schemes. Her clients include all players in the venture capital environment such as VC funds, corporate ventures, start-ups, business angels and founders. Her many years of experience and her pragmatic advisory approach are particularly appreciated by her clients.
Katja was admitted to the bar in 2004. After her law studies in Muenster and her legal training at the higher Regional Court in Bielefeld, she picked up her legal career in the M&A boutique law firm Gabler & Partner. She qualified as specialist legal professional for commercial and corporate law in 2010.
Prior to joining Andersen in January 2026, Katja worked at Mazars, Hyazinth, POELLATH and most recently BRL Boege Rohde Luebbehuesen.
