Péter Vincze is a Managing Partner at Andersen in Hungary. Péter has broad experience in banking and finance, M&A, project finance, private equity, and corporate/commercial contracts, both on a domestic and cross-border/international level. In the past 25 years, he has gained extensive experience in working on several transactions and investment projects, real property acquisitions and developments, as well as corporate acquisitions, take-overs, and restructurings. He worked for Raiffeisen Bank Hungary for four years, where he was the Head of the legal team responsible for structured and syndicated transactions, project financing, as well as corporate finance. After leaving Raiffeisen, he was an Associate Partner of a domestic law firm in cooperation with Lovells.
Péter has significant experience in legal assistance in banking transactions, preparing financial documents, and representing clients in connection with borrowings. He is especially experienced in representing financial institutions on matters regarding regulatory issues and restructuring. He advises and assists clients in the acquisition of banks and financial institutions along with loan portfolio transfers. He also supports debt collection and distressed asset transfer transactions under various structures.
Additionally, Péter works on numerous renewable energy projects and transactions, greenfield investment projects (including negotiations with authorities) and complex real property transactions. He supports clients, shareholders and investors related with projects and M&A transactions (e.g., acquisition/purchase of companies and shares, leveraged buyout, merger, spin-off, business allocation, corporate reorganization) from the structuring of the deal up until its closing.
