Miguel Trejo is a partner in the transfer pricing practice at Andersen in Mexico. He has more than 18 years of specialized experience in transfer pricing and valuation services for corporate enterprises and high-net-worth individuals.

He is one of only five authorized professionals qualified to serve as an expert witness before Mexican Federal Courts, and one of twenty-eight certified professionals recognized by the Mexican Federation of Economists—credentials that position him among the leading practitioners in Mexico.

His experience includes transfer pricing planning and restructuring, from a single transaction up to a tax efficient reorganization of multinational enterprises value chain, negotiation of advanced price agreements with Mexican tax authorities, disputes resolutions, valuation of business enterprises, and intangible assets specially for transfer pricing but also for financial statement reporting, tax planning and compliance, M&A, strategic planning, and restructuring.

He is recognized by International Tax Review as a World TP – Notable Practitioner. Miguel is a frequent speaker at professional forums throughout Mexico and Central America and contributes regularly to various tax and economic publications. He is a recurrent speaker in forums in Mexico and Central America also writes articles for different publications in Mexico. He currently collaborates with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) as one of the two registered authors for Mexico and to maintain the Mexican transfer pricing chapter.
