Tiziano Ballinari

As the Co-Founder of Andersen in Switzerland and a Managing Partner at the firm, Tiziano brings a great a mount of experience to the firm. He oversees the firm’s corporate and taxation consultancy activities and is responsible for its corporate strategy and planning. With over 20 years of experience in the matters of Swiss tax, Tiziano’s areas of international practice include fiscal and financial due diligence for international mergers and acquisitions.

Tiziano is also a member of the Board of Directors for several companies and deals with individuals and companies of all sizes. He advises high-net worth foreign investors on Swiss investments and activities and gives expert advice on corporate matters at a national and global level. He serves family-owned, closely held businesses and emerging companies as well as large, publicly traded corporations.

Tiziano's extensive expertise and experience includes involvement in the domestic restructuring of companies. He advises Swiss and non-Swiss corporate clients with tax-efficient structuring of their business operations, along with providing counsel regarding the operation of private investment funds.

Moreover, Tiziano frequently provides advice and accompanied fundraising for start-up firms in the Swiss and international environment. He also facilitates in areas regarding communication with banks (to ensure tax-efficient structuring of transactions), implementation of the set-up and roll-over structures as well as determining the appropriate debt-equity mix.

As an anti-money laundering specialist, he also works on risk management, compliance and reputational risks, mapping gaps and setting remediation projects and plans as well as the drafting of policies and procedures.
