Timothy Gatonye leads the tax strategy and transfer pricing services team at Andersen in Rwanda, specializing in providing strategic tax guidance to both domestic and multinational clients. He excels in offering deep insights into tax opportunities and risk management strategies, which assist clients in optimizing their tax structures and compliance processes.

His expertise in international and domestic tax matters drives impactful outcomes for clients across diverse sectors, including agriculture, energy, large infrastructure, technology, and funds and investment structures under the Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC).

Timothy's proficiency extends to transaction deals and M&A advisory, particularly in advising on tax matters related to entry strategy, acquisitions, realignment, and exit structures, as well as tax due diligence.

Moreover, Timothy supports clients in transfer pricing and emerging international tax issues, including global mobility matters, where he assists clients in addressing tax complications relating to cross-border deployment and services. He has also successfully represented clients in various tax-related matters, including securing tax incentives, private rulings, Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), and tax dispute resolutions.
