Derek Swank is a managing director at Andersen Consulting with nearly 25 years of experience in business and technology consulting. He takes a hands-on approach to guiding solution delivery, client expansion, and revenue acceleration. He is an interpersonal leader who forms strong, trusted relationships and quickly helps clients grow and expand.

Derek serves as the central point of accountability across business and IT teams. He supports client C-suite executives and their boards by offering them the transparency needed to make critical decisions during large-scale, complex transformations. 

Derek has deep experience integrating complex IT systems during mergers, acquisitions, and divestures, and has guided major organizations in the financial services and utility industries to highly successful outcomes.

Before joining Andersen Consulting, Derek co-founded 1Rivet where he drove client success and innovation. Prior to 1Rivet, Derek worked as a Senior Manager at SapientNitro, sharpening his skills in business and technology consulting.
