George Svanadze is the Office Managing Director and co-founder of Andersen in Georgia. He advises clients on corporate matters, the structuring of cross-border transactions, and international commercial and investment contracts. His expertise spans due diligence, conflict of laws, arbitration and litigation, licensing and regulatory issues, competition law, banking and finance, free industrial zones, labor and employment, and migration law.
He frequently conducts workshops and trainings for Georgian judges, notaries, attorneys, and registries on private international law, contract and corporate law, and international trade and business law.
Prior to joining Andersen in Georgia (formerly MG Law), George gained extensive experience leading legal practices at Big Four firms. He served as the associate partner and head of EY law in Tbilisi, head of Deloitte legal, and senior associate at another firm in Georgia. Earlier, he worked as in-house counsel at a leading Georgian mineral water producer and expanded his international experience at law firms in Hamburg and Berlin.
