Lateef is the partner and head of the business advisory practice at Andersen in Nigeria. He has over 18 years of extensive range of experience in leading and managing various projects in institutional transformation, sector and organisational reforms, finance strategy formulation, finance function transformation and redesign, and blueprint development and implementation. He has assisted varied industries ranging from non-profit, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, oil and gas, and public sectors, especially providing reform advisory services to state institutions.
Prior to joining Andersen, he was an associate director in the advisory practice of KPMG professional services where he led many large finance function transformation and implementation projects in key sectors of our economy. He was the project manager for financial reporting transformation project for a national oil company and its 23 subsidiaries, where he assisted the company to clear the backlog of its six 6 years audit. Lateef is a versatile and dedicated professional who has gained experience across several competency areas.
He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), UK and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).
