Daniel Suneson is a managing director at Andersen Consulting with 25 years of experience. He began his career at GE Healthcare, advancing from local accountant to financial planning & analysis for the Nordic countries. Over the years, Daniel has completed more than 20 consulting assignments across various industries, gaining deep expertise in CFO responsibilities.

Driven by a focus on process improvement and system efficiency, Daniel's work evolved from building digital reports to providing companies with actionable insights. For the last seven years, he has specialized in bridging finance and IT, leading projects that integrate both areas.

Daniel’s key experiences include leading ERP implementations of Microsoft products for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) in Europe, Australia, and South America. He also served as process owner for the invoicing flow in a major ERP integration, managing the connection between three systems: time/support, CRM, and ERP. In a large mobility company, he acted as interim system and process owner and finance team manager. In the banking industry, Daniel rebuilt historical data, budgets, and forecasts to fit a new organizational model with 400 teams. During the merger of two Nordic FMCG companies, he managed the integration of finance processes into the acquiring company’s SAP system. At a major car-leasing company, he set up the controller function for the Nordic countries, developed budget and forecast models, and created a management and reporting package that connected the Nordic operations to its German parent company.
