María Suárez is a Partner in the corporate and commercial law department at Andersen’s Madrid office.
Previously, she was a Partner at DA Lawyers since 2017.
Until her incorporation, María was head of the criminal litigation, technology and data protection areas at Suárez de la Dehesa Abogados.
She has extensive experience advising on complex conflicts. In the area of data protection, she has carried out due diligence for companies in different industrial sectors, as well as daily support in the management of data protection in companies.
In technology matters, she advises on software licensing contracts, e-commerce, outsourcing, cloud computing as well as national and international Service Level Agreements.
She is a professor in the Masters of Intellectual Property and New Technologies of ICADE and Carlos III University and in the Master of Telecommunications of Carlos III University.
She is also a member of different local and international professional and industrial associations related to digital business, data protection and intellectual property.
She is a regular contributor to media specialized in technology to which she provides a legal vision of the business.
