Stefano Uglietti's practice focuses on corporate issues advising entrepreneurs in the management of preliminary activities related to reorganization, business turnaround (CRO) and distressed situations; possibly to reach out-of-court settlements with creditors.
He also advises companies with the beginning process of crisis settlement procedures in accordance with Italian Insolvency Code also as voluntary liquidator appointed by the company.
Stefano provides expertise both as Company Consultant and Court Appointed Consultant in restructuring agreements, company deed arrangement and composition with creditors, restructuring plans. In the field of insolvency, he provides advice in bankruptcy frauds proceedings/claims and liability actions towards directors and auditors.
Stefano has the authorization to carry out, appointed by the court, voluntary liquidations, insolvencies procedures (receiver) and asset allocation. He is also a consultant in court-appointed issues (both civil and criminal matters) as an expert in tax, accounting and bankruptcy matters.
He also offers consulting and legal defense in tax court.
Stefano is a lecturer on insolvency procedures at the Traineeship School in the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Auditors of Milan. He is a co-author of the books “Le Nuove Società” [New Companies] and “L’imposta sul reddito delle società” [Tax on Company Income], both published by Il Sole 24 Ore.
