Joachim Schulz is the managing director and founder of Andersen Corporate Finance and Valuation Advisors in the Netherlands.
He has more than 25 years of experience in valuation and corporate finance including mergers and acquisition, corporate restructuring, and privatizations.
Joachim successfully launched the global valuation and corporate finance firm American Appraisal in the Netherlands, a business which grew significantly and was acquired in 2015 by Duff & Phelps (now Kroll). Prior to that, he was a Director at KPMG Corporate Finance, (heading the Restructuring & Recovery activities of the firm) and Ernst & Young in Germany and the Netherlands.
He is fluent in Dutch, German and English.
Joachim has extensive expertise in the measurement and management of value, including sell and buy side deal advisory, financial and operational restructuring, and valuation advisory. He on a regularly base provides opinions for investment, divestment, disputes and litigation, (re)financing, accounting, and tax purposes. His assignments include M&A transactions, restructuring, and strategic advisory of corporate clients in a variety of industries and countries.
