Samir Mammadov is a managing director at Andersen and leads the firm’s Global Mobility practice. He brings over two decades of specialized expertise in international tax and other services, providing tailored solutions for multinational companies navigating the complexities of global mobility.
Samir focuses on developing comprehensive strategies for effective cross-border resource management, innovating tailored client solutions and growth strategies, and providing best-in-class services to tackle complex global mobility issues.
Before joining Andersen, Samir spent 23 years at PwC, including 11 years as a partner in Global Mobility. He led New Products and Services for the broader U.S. Tax practice and played a key role in developing technology and data-driven solutions, while serving on the firm’s Innovation and Mega Bets council to the CEO, helping to shape strategic direction.
Samir played a pivotal role in the transition of the Global Mobility practice into an independent company, Vialto Partners, where he developed growth strategies and introduced product innovations. He also oversaw marketing efforts and strategic alliances, serving as Chief Growth Officer until October 2023.
Samir is fluent in English, Azeri, Russian, and Turkish.
