Ryan Wang is a managing director in the Commercial practice at Andersen. Ryan has over 16 years of experience in providing exceptional tax provision, compliance, and advisory services to clients. His clients range from emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 multinationals, including both publicly held and private businesses. Industries include telehealth, semiconductor, software, biotechnology, media, and retail. His primary practice areas include ASC 740, federal and state tax compliance, entity structuring, state and local tax planning, and international tax planning. He has advised businesses on various tax matters, including:

• Navigating the impact of tax reforms (TCJA)
• Accounting for income taxes (FASB ASC 740), including analysis of uncertain tax positions
• IPO readiness
• Compensation and benefits tax planning, including tax accounting for stock compensation
• Tax controversies
• Global mergers and acquisition planning
• Tax credits, including research and experimentation tax credits
• Tax compliance, including preparation/review of federal and state tax returns
