Ryan Guthrie

Ryan Guthrie is a managing director within the Commercial practice specializing in M&A, bringing over 25 years of middle-market transaction advisory and investment banking experience.

In his role as leader of the firm’s National Financial and Operational Due Diligence group, based in our Orange County, CA office, Ryan’s primary responsibilities include providing exceptional service to private equity and corporate clients in both buy-side and sell-side engagements as well as developing the practice to deliver a differentiated value proposition in the market.  

Ryan is highly experienced in solving complex transactional issues in various industries. His industry experience spans software and technology, business services, consumer products, and healthcare across a wide range of transaction types including, leveraged buyouts, strategic acquisitions, carve-outs, financings, and business restructurings.

Before joining Andersen, Ryan was the National Practice Leader of BDO USA’s Transaction and Business Advisory Services practice. Before BDO, he was a Vice President at Citigroup Global Markets, where he was a sell-side M&A advisor.
