José Luis Ruiz is a managing director at Andersen Consulting in Spain. He began his career by coordinating technology consulting and digital transformation initiatives while helping develop the Customer Experience Management practice in Spain. He is also a professor in the Executive Program for Customer Experience at IE Business School. Since 2019, José has served as a senior advisor for Nemesis Experience, where he focuses on implementing best practices in customer experience across various sectors.
One of José's major accomplishments was exclusively leading the digital transformation project for the General Council of Spanish Lawyers. In this role, he managed RedAbogacía, transforming it into a leading technology company in the legal sector. In addition to his work with Nemesis, José has held senior roles in information technology and strategy at various telecom operators both in Spain and internationally.
Among his notable achievements, José designed and launched the Electronic File for Legal Aid service in Spain, which processes over 1.5 million cases annually. This innovative service was awarded the Crystal Scales of European Justice prize for improving legal aid.
José is passionate about helping clients turn data into valuable services, conceptualize new revenue streams, and distinguish themselves through exceptional customer experiences. He inspires his students to focus not only on financial returns but also on the people who deliver and receive value.
