Luca has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2005.
Regarding European market exposure, Luca has, among others, been acting for several years as an external counsel for different countries of one of the world’s largest fashion retailers with several distinct brands. In this context, he supports E-commerce activities, advises on regulatory, compliance, consumer protection, market practices, and pro-actively monitors pertinent legal evolutions.
He conducts occasional legal secondment and handles complex litigation, leading national and international procedures and arbitrations. The experience acquired as a litigator, made him especially able in negotiating and drawing up terms and conditions and different kinds of contracts and agreements.
Furthermore, Luca has more than 20 years of experience in the international business law with a focus on Africa, where he lived and worked. Over these years, Luca has been advising, assisting and representing international clients wishing to structure their investments and activities in Africa and African-based clients wishing to expand their business overseas. In doing that, he has built up a significant experience across a wide range of economic sectors an,d naturally, have become familiar with local dynamics and culture of different countries. This makes him able to drill down into specific local in-country issues.
He is particularly at ease in the fields of international sale of goods and commodities, distribution networks, retail, telecommunications, logistic and transports, infrastructures, renewable energy, agribusiness, to name a few.
He travels to Africa on a regular basis and he always is where the clients need him to be.
