Ana Reis

Ana Reis is a tax partner at Andersen in Portugal. Ana started her career as a financial auditor at Price Waterhouse. Later, Ana held the position of Asset Manager in the private banking sector. In 1994, Ana joined PwC where she developed her professional career in the tax field for 27 years.

In 2021 Ana joined Andersen in Portugal as a tax partner. She is now a tax professional with 30 years of experience advising national and international clients in a variety of tax matters in a wide array of industry sectors including manufacturing, automotive, energy, retail, pharmaceutics, software development, food and beverage (coffee and port wine), dairy products, tourism and entertainment, construction, and real estate.

Ana also has extensive specialized experience in national and international tax structuring, corporate reorganizations, and internationalization projects. Ana is also responsible for the coordination of teams providing services in the following areas:

• M&A transactions and tax due diligences
• Ongoing day-to-day tax advice
• Tax advisory
• Tax incentives

Ana also lectures in various Master’s programs, MBAs, and postgraduate courses at various academic institutions.
