Thomas Quek is a managing director in the Alternative Investments Funds practice at Andersen. He brings more than 25 years of experience guiding investors and managers of real estate and private equity funds through complex tax planning, structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, and overall tax compliance.
Before joining Andersen, Tom was a managing director in the San Francisco office of Deloitte Tax LLP specializing in domestic and foreign partnership and real estate investment trust taxation for commercial and residential developers and owners, and advising tax-exempt, high net worth and foreign investors.
Tom taught numerous tax technical courses focused on property transactions and pass-through entity taxation. He published articles in the Journal of Real Estate Taxation, contributing valuable insights and advancing industry best practices.
