Francisco Puertas is a managing director at Andersen Consulting in Spain. He brings more than 25 years of experience advising clients across multinational consulting, corporate banking, boutique advisory, entrepreneurship, and high-growth fintech.
Francisco began his career in corporate banking at Banco Santander before transitioning to leadership roles in human capital consulting. He spent nearly two decades at Accenture, including 15 years as a partner in the strategy practice, where he led the talent and organization team for Spain and Portugal. He has delivered large-scale transformation programs focused on leadership, workforce strategy, and cultural alignment across a range of industries including financial services, consumer goods, energy, and sports.
In addition to his consulting career, Francisco led the restructuring and professionalization of a historic Spanish football club, served as president of a leading fintech focused on employee financial wellbeing, and lectures on human capital and people analytics at several universities. He is a frequent contributor to executive forums and HR publications.
