Miguel Prado

Miguel Prado is a Partner in the Corporate department at Andersen in Spain for the Madrid office.

Prior to joining Andersen in Spain, Miguel was the Director of the Regulatory and Compliance practice at Deloitte Legal, and previously, a Lawyer of the same area at Linklaters and KPMG Abogados.

He specialises in legal and regulatory advice to national and foreign credit institutions, credit finance companies, payment institutions, investment service companies and collective investment institutions.

He also has an extensive experience in regulatory advice on cross-border transactions, and authorization procedures for entities and cross-border structures. Within the Financial Technology sector, Miguel has advised different entities and new operators belonging to the lending, or media payment, sector on adapting to the applicable regulations.

Recognized by the Best Lawyers directory in the area of Compliance and Corporate Governance, Miguel collaborates as a Compliance professor for the Master’s degree program at the Instituto de Empresa and is a regular speaker at different universities and forums in the sector.
