Patrick Lavelle is a Managing Director in Andersen’s Commercial practice in the Los Angeles office. He specializes in federal tax and has over 14 years of experience advising clients on tax matters.
Patrick’s experience includes a focus on early-stage, middle market, publicly and privately-held emerging growth companies based domestically and internationally. He also works closely with venture capital and private equity firms to provide strategic tax planning advice concerning their portfolio investment companies.
Patrick has extensive expertise in providing strategic tax and legal consulting on company restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, growth and expansion, equity-based compensation, qualified small business stock, choice-of-entity planning, and business exits. He has served clients of various sizes and at different stages of growth across many industries, including software development, financial services, media and entertainment, consumer products, retail, financial technology, and manufacturing.
Before joining Andersen, Patrick practiced law at a nationally recognized law firm, representing Fortune 100 companies in transactional and regulatory matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission.
