Roberto Palea is a professional in negotiation, tax and contractual consulting in the field of M&A, national and international taxation (especially of mutual funds and non-profit entities), as well as in strategic business advisory.
He was an independent director of an airline company from 2003 to 2004 and a member of the Board of Directors and then Statutory Auditor of a leading technology company, since its incorporation until 1997. He was also a former member of the Committee of Arbitrators for the defense of bond holders. He also oversaw the listing and delisting of several companies.
He previously served as a Professor of Economic Policy from 1962 to 1970 and worked as a bankruptcy receiver at the Court of Turin from 1962 to 1979.
Roberto founded Studio Palea in 1962, now known as Andersen in Italy.
Former President and now a member of the Scientific Committee of the Centre for Studies on Federalism (advisor to the Draghi government on European policy), he was a student and collaborator of Altiero Spinelli since the 1960s and has always dealt with the European Union, climate warming, and environment issues.
