Oladipo Maiye

Oladipo is the Partner and Head of Oil, Gas and Power group at Andersen in Nigeria.

Oladipo has over 18 years of experience as an accountant, tax consultant and manager. During this period, he worked on various commercial, tax (advisory and compliance) and financial accounting positions.

At Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Limited, he worked as the budget controller and the Commercial, Tax and Lifting Manager.

As a tax consultant, Oladipo rose to the rank of Senior Manager in the Tax and Corporate Advisory Services group at PwC and had a brief stint as an Associate Director in the tax unit of EY.

He has led numerous teams on various tax engagements including acquisitions and divestments. During his time at Addax Petroleum, he advised the company on commercial and tax impact of proposed and on-going projects, reviewed and negotiated new contracts, and spearheaded the reconciliation of entitlements (royalty, tax and profit oil) of the parties in the Production Sharing Contract (PSC).

As a Senior Tax Manager at PwC, he successfully resolved tax disputes with the Nigerian Tax Authorities.

Oladipo was also instrumental in the training and development of accounting/tax papers.
