Giacomo Morri

Giacomo is a partner at Andersen in Italy, providing advisory support in all areas concerning real estate, such as valuation for disposals, acquisitions, extraordinary corporate transactions, bankruptcy proceedings, tax issues, and generational transitions. He is a chartered accountant, RICS member, and Registered Valuer. He also deals with the planning and structuring of financing for investments, refinancing, negotiations, and debt restructuring plans.

He assists clients in the analysis and identification of investment opportunities, with financial plans, scouting, club deals, and assistance in the acquisition phase, as well as support in the disposal of assets through presentation to the market, identification of investors, and assistance in the disposal. He has expertise in technical advice in litigation involving real estate, investment vehicles (real estate funds, SICAFs, SPVs, etc.), asset managers (SGRs), and real estate finance transactions.

For over twenty years, he has worked in the real estate sector, where he is an advisor for real estate companies, an independent director, and is on the advisory board of several real estate funds for institutional investors.

Giacomo is Associate Professor of Practice in Corporate Finance & Real Estate at SDA Bocconi and lecturer in Real Estate Finance at Bocconi University. At SDA Bocconi, he was Director of the Master in Real Estate and of the Executive Master in Corporate Finance & Banking, as well as Faculty Deputy of the Knowledge Group of Corporate Finance & Real Estate.

He is also the author of numerous books and scientific articles on real estate topics, a member of the editorial board of national and international scientific journals, and a past president and board member of the European Real Estate Society.
