Dr. Patrick Mittmann

Patrick Mittmann specializes in credit financing transactions. The focus of his practice are complex national and international real estate financings, in particular real estate related acquisition financings and refinancings, asset deals and share deals, real estate portfolio financings and development financings as well as debt restructurings, security enforcements and loan portfolio transfers. Outside the real estate sector, he advises on corporate lending and leveraged finance deals and restructurings. His clients include banks, insurances and debt funds as lenders as well as companies, private equity firms, investment funds, and real estate developers as borrowers.

Dr. Patrick Mittmann studied law at the University of Cologne and was first admitted to legal practice in 1999. His career included positions as an attorney with international law firms – inter alia in Frankfurt and New York – as an investment banker and as inhouse legal counsel with a real estate-focused private equity firm. He joined Andersen in 2025 and, before that, he was a partner at another firm.
