Misak Babajanyan

With a wealth of experience and an impressive track record, Misak Babajanyan brings valuable expertise to his role as Senior Partner. Previously, Misak has held several key positions at the Central Bank of Armenia, spearheading the development of financial system legislation, leading various projects aimed at enhancing the regulatory framework, and fostering the growth of financial institutions.

Misak’s areas of expertise include M&A, corporate and financial law, including banking, insurance, securities market, and currency regulation. He also excels in providing sound legal counsel for commercial transactions, corporate governance, and licensing matters. He is an esteemed attorney and prominent figure within the Armenian legal community, widely recognized by the industry as one of the best in corporate law.

He is admitted to the Armenian Bar and was acknowledged as a highly regarded lawyer by IFLR 1000 from 2019 to 2022. In 2023, Misak successfully completed the European Board Diploma, delivered by The European Confederation of Directors' Associations (ecoDa), in cooperation with ICGN. With his academic achievements and professional accomplishments, he brings a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape to our clients, ensuring their interests are protected with the utmost diligence and skill. He is a prolific author, having contributed numerous scientific articles, and imparts his vast knowledge as a faculty member, teaching company law at the French University in Armenia.
