Umberto Mauro

Umberto is a partner at Andersen in Italy. He advises financial institutions, investors and corporate entities on different types of securitisation and structured finance matters, including direct lending via securitisation SPVs, real estate securitisations, and acquisition and financing of NPLs and other assets.

In addition to assisting with the structuring of the transactions, Umberto provides advice on EU and Italian regulations affecting the securitisation industry.

Umberto has also extensive experience of public and private debt issues, including transactions involving issues of bonds, convertible and exchangeable bonds, green bonds, and structured finance products.

He has more than 20 years of experience in acting for banks, alternative lenders, investors and corporates on a wide range of banking and finance transactions, including aviation financings and leasing, real estate financings and corporate loans.
