Marcin Matyka

Marcin is an Advocate and a Tax Advisor with over 20 years of experience in consulting for the biggest Polish and foreign entrepreneurs. Marcin is the Managing Partner of Andersen in Poland.

He specializes in legal and tax advisory, M&A, and transactions undertaken by private equity funds.

Marcin has gained experience in advising on transactions in real estate, energy and oil & gas sectors as well as for financial institutions.

He has represented clients in tax litigation before tax authorities, administrative courts of both instances, and before the Parliamentary Investigation Committee on VAT.

Additionally, he supervises infrastructural projects, including green field projects in Poland.

Marcin was also an attorney of managers and board members in criminal tax litigation, an author of numerous publications on tax and law, and a speaker at conferences and seminars on civil and tax law.

In 2015, he led the tax department that was recognized by International Tax Review as Tax Firm of the Year in Poland.
