Marcio Matsuda

Marcio Matsuda is a managing director at Andersen Consulting in Brazil, bringing over 25 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, third-party logistics, e-commerce, and the retail and fashion industries.

Marcio has taken on leadership roles such as manager, operations director, and chief operating officer at top companies in the retail (food, electronics, books, and furniture), fashion, e-commerce, and third-party logistics (3PL) sectors in Brazil.

Throughout his executive career, Marcio led various functional areas, including warehouse operations, planning and projects, supply chain planning, sourcing, procurement, product management, commercial strategy, and pricing. He drove revenue and margin growth for products and implemented multiple warehouse and automation projects.

In his consulting career, Marcio has led and delivered transformative projects across industries, particularly in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, carriers, 3PL, publishers, fashion brands, restaurants, wholesale, and auto parts. His expertise covers logistics network design, warehouse design and implementation, cost reduction, post-merger and acquisition integration, labor planning, inventory management, material handling automation, and omnichannel strategies.

Marcio co-founded and represents the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Roundtable Brazil.
