Mark Lonnecker is a Managing Director in the Alternative Investment Funds and Commercial practices at Andersen. He has over 16 years of experience in providing a full spectrum of tax compliance services to upstream energy companies. Mark is a member of Andersen’s Energy, Mining, and Extraction Group and Alternative Energy Group. His expertise includes tax compliance and consulting services for exploration & production partnerships and high net worth individuals involved in domestic shale, domestic onshore, and state and federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico.

Mark's experience also includes federal and state income tax compliance and consulting involving business reorganization and restructuring of distressed entities in the energy sector.

Prior to Andersen, Mark worked at a boutique tax practice in Houston, providing compliance and consulting services to the upstream energy sector and high net worth families.
