Nicola Laurenzano

Nicola is a partner at Andersen in Italy, specialized in taxpayer defense (individuals, legal entities, non-profit organizations).

He coordinates a team of professionals that deals with tax litigation and, in general, the management of tax disputes.

Nicola assists taxpayers during the phases of tax reviews, tax checks, tax assessments, and tax collection initiated by the Revenue Agency and Local Authorities, and he represents them in tax trials before the Tax Courts.

He assists companies in Mutual Agreement Procedures for resolving international disputes, as well as in submitting requests for rulings to the Revenue Agency.

Nicola has pursued his training in tax defense at the Scuola del Difensore Tributario, attending several editions as well as taking courses in European law for taxpayer defense.

During his professional career, he has also gained solid experience in both ordinary and extraordinary tax advisory, as well as in accounting, provided to capital companies, mainly belonging to multinational groups.

Nicola previously worked at PwC in Milan and another firm where he worked as the head of the tax litigation team. 

Nicola is a member of the Associazione dei Difensori Tributari and has been a speaker at courses and conferences on tax assessments and litigation.
