Laura Berard has over 20 years of experience providing tax planning and compliance services to wealthy families and their closely-held businesses, trusts, and private foundations to create and execute tailored solutions to achieve their objectives.
She focuses on income, estate and gift tax, wealth transfer and business succession planning, and charitable giving structuring and strategies. She also has experience working with entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and private equity principals.
Prior to Andersen, Laura worked in the Private Client Services group at Deloitte, where she spent two years in the firm’s National Tax Office in the Estate, Gift, Trust and Charitable group.
