Katarzyna Komulainen

Katarzyna is an Advocate with 15 years of experience gained in working with Polish and foreign entrepreneurs as well as individual clients.

She specializes in commercial criminal law (White Collar Crime), compliance, commercial litigation, and legal advisory for financial technology (FinTech) institutions.

Katarzyna represented companies acting as auxiliary prosecutors in criminal proceedings against individuals acting to their detriment.

As a defense attorney, she represented individual clients in criminal and fiscal-crime proceedings, particularly with respect to the responsibility of management board members of capital companies.

She conducted a number of compliance projects particularly with respect to implementing procedures regarding anti-money laundering, whistleblowing and anti-corruption, in efforts to protect the interest of the clients.

Additionally, she represented companies in commercial litigation before the civil and administrative courts as well as in arbitration including the cross-border elements. She also provided comprehensive legal advice to the FinTech institutions within the scope of their business activity.

Furthermore, Katarzyna is an author of several publications and a speaker at seminars on commercial criminal law, commercial litigation and compliance.
