Robin Klinghagen

Robin Klinghagen has over 30 years of state and local tax experience and has assisted clients in resolving complex tax issues in virtually every state taxing jurisdiction. This assistance has included discovering and effectively implementing tax planning opportunities and helping clients successfully resolve state income/franchise and sales/use tax audit situations. She has also been responsible for the management of nexus studies, state and local tax due diligence projects, and has extensive experience in tax compliance review. Robin has worked with the state tax aspects of several merger and acquisition transactions. She has also assisted clients with accounting for state income taxes under ASC 740 and in reviewing uncertain tax positions. 

Robin has worked with clients in several industries including several integrated oil and gas companies, master limited partnerships, gas and power marketing companies, pipeline companies, oilfield services companies, companies in the medical industry, and technical companies.

Prior to joining Andersen, Robin worked in the state and local practices of PwC, Hein and had her own Firm RRK Consulting. She also spent 8 years with Sonifi where she started and managed the tax department.   

She has spoken for organizations such as the Tax Executives Institute (TEI), the Energy Tax Association, the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners (TIPRO), and Council On State Taxation (COST).
