Philippe has extensive experience in the financing sector, particularly in the area of real estate financing. He advises both borrowers and lenders in particular on the financing of real estate acquisitions of and project developments in all asset classes, including residential, commercial, logistics, office and retail. In this context, he advises financial institutions, insurance companies, pension funds, major real estate sponsors including real estate owners, investors and developers, family offices and other investors on senior and mezzanine financing (including promissory note loans) both at national level and in the context of international (portfolio) financing. In the area of restructuring advice, he advises his clients on refinancings as well as loan and loan portfolio sales.
Philippe was admitted as a German attorney in 2005. Before joining Andersen, he was a partner at another firm, previously worked as in-house counsel and for a Magic Circle law firm.
