Julián Jiménez Mejía

With a solid track record of more than 30 years specializing in tax matters and business structuring, Julián has widely stood out for leading strategic teams in the field of legal and tax, advising prominent companies, both national and internationally, and covering various economic sectors.

Over the course of his professional career, Julián has held the role of managing partner of the tax and legal services practice at a multinational business advisory firm for more than 13 years. His experience covers several firms specialized in legal and tax advisory, as well as roles held in the private sector, business associations, and Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN)/National Tax and Customs Office.

In addition to his business achievements, he has shared his knowledge as a professor at renowned academic institutions, such as Universidad de Los Andes, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and Universidad Externado de Colombia. Julián actively participates as a speaker in forums and seminars, both in public and private sectors. Also, he has contributed as an author of articles, books, and reforms on tax issues in various national media.

Julián is a founding partner and director of JHR Servicios Contables, now Andersen in Colombia.
