José Vicente Morote

José Vicente Morote has been the managing partner of Andersen in Spain and Andersen in Portugal since 2021. He is also the chairman of the board of directors of Andersen in Iberia.

Since 2019, he has been a member of the global board. He has also been the legal business unit coordinator for Europe since 2018, coordinating the legal services provided by the firm in 40 jurisdictions.

José Vicente sits on the leadership committee, an operational management body that lays the strategic foundations for the organisation's future, and heads the global training division for more than 170 countries.

Since his appointment as managing partner in January 2021, Andersen in Iberia has achieved exponential growth, with a 250% increase in turnover—from 20 million euros to 70 million euros at the end of 2024. The firm is also forecasted to reach 100 million euros in 2026. Similarly, Andersen in Iberia has achieved a 150% increase in turnover per professional and implemented new metrics and parameters, leading to greater productivity and profitability.

At an operational level, José Vicente has led the expansion of Andersen in Iberia. He has extended geographical coverage to five locations, opening offices in Porto, Lisbon, Barcelona, Malaga, and Bilbao, strengthening the firm’s ability to deliver seamless services across the region.

His business vision has led to a restructuring of the firm’s central services, moving from a small family business model, where the different areas depended on the firm's partners, to a modernised support structure. This restructuring has professionalised management areas and introduced technological updates to sustain future expansion.

In 2024, the firm created the Andersen in Iberia Foundation, through which pro bono activities are channeled to benefit disadvantaged groups and society.
