John Farro is a Managing Director in the Private Client Services practice at Andersen. He has over 20 years of experience focused on the areas of individual taxation (catering to high net worth individuals), estate and trust planning, flow-through entities, as well as charitable planning and private foundations.
As an Enrolled Agent licensed by Internal Revenue Service, John is authorized to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of IRS, including revenue agent examinations, appeals and collection matters. John has extensive experience in providing tax consulting and compliance service to high net worth families and individuals, with an emphasis on income, fiduciary, estate, charitable giving and wealth transfer tax matters. He has worked with high-level executives of large financial institutions and corporations, as well as many hedge and private equity partners in the metro New York area. Before joining Andersen, John worked at Arthur Andersen and RSM McGladrey.
