Jeremiah Fish

Jerry Fish is the technical practice leader of the ASC 740 group in Andersen US National Tax (USNT). Jerry has more than 21 years of experience in accounting for income taxes, financial reporting, business combinations, income tax compliance, tax legislation, tax planning, and mergers and acquisitions.

He serves companies in a wide variety of industries on matters such as:

• Tax reporting on annual and interim financial statements for both U.S. GAAP and IFRS
• Adoption of new ASU’s for tax reporting
• IPO readiness and tax reporting for filing S-1
• Tax reporting for business acquisitions and dispositions
• Development on review of internal controls for SOX 404
• Remediation of financial statement reporting deficiencies
• Tax department structure and process improvement

Jerry frequently speaks at various organizations on accounting for income taxes and business combinations.

Prior to joining Andersen, Jerry was a Partner at BDO USA LLP in the National Tax Office, which oversaw the firm's technical practice of ASC 740 & IAS 12. He also previously worked at Grant Thornton LLP and RR Donnelley/Moore Wallace North America.
