Jeff Malo is a managing director in the Andersen US National Tax office, where he focuses on IRS practice and procedure and tax controversy. He has over 25 years of experience in both tax and government service.
Before Andersen, Jeff was a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice Tax Division in Washington, D.C., where he litigated individual and corporate tax cases in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Earlier in his career, Jeff worked at Arthur Andersen, and other Big Four firms where he was part of their federal and state and local tax practices.
Jeff has extensive experience across multiple industries, and in individual taxation. His background combines the technical expertise of Big Four consulting, with an in-depth understanding of tax administration. His experience spans the full lifecycle of taxation, from planning and reporting through examination defense and controversy resolution.
