Ilan Ben Eli

Ilan Ben-Eli is the Office Managing Partner of Andersen – Beneli, the Israeli member firm of Andersen Global, based in Tel Aviv.

Ilan has over 18 years of experience in tax practice. Before joining Andersen, he worked at a Big Four accounting firm from 2000 – 2014 in their Tel Aviv and New York offices. He was a Partner in the firm’s International Tax department and headed their U.S. Tax Desk in Tel Aviv.

Before leaving the Big Four firm, Ilan was head of the largest tax specialty group in Israel, and was considered the largest tax partner, in terms of revenue, in the country.

In addition to his LLB undergraduate degree (with honors), Ilan attended a specialized U.S. taxation program at New York University Law School, where he received an LLM in Taxation.

Ilan assists some of the largest U.S. and Israeli multi-national firms, as well as startups and high net-worth individuals (including leading businessmen/families with cross-border Israeli/U.S. presence), with their international tax matters including mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, equity compensation, tax accounting and tax efficient corporate structuring.

Ilan is a regular speaker at tax conferences and his comments are commonly cited and appear at leading business newspapers and magazines.
