Ignacio Aparicio

Ignacio Aparicio is a Partner at Andersen in Spain, and he leads the Corporate department in the Madrid, Valencia and Seville offices.

He is also the Director of the Cuban Desk of the firm and the coordinator of the Corporate, M&A and Banking & Finance service line for Andersen in Europe. He is a member and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Andersen Tax & Legal Iberia S.L.P. and the General Counsel for the firm.

Ignacio has over 20 years of experience. He previously worked in Olleros Abogados. He also worked as an Associate at another domestic law firm focused on litigation in different jurisdictions. In 2000, he was an associate lawyer at the New York law firm Whitman, Breed, Abbot & Morgan, LLP, which later merged with Winston & Strawn, LLP.As part of his work in the corporate practice, he has been involved in a large number of cross-border transactions in Latin America, Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East.

In the area of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, he advises clients in multiple judicial and arbitration proceedings, on both a domestic and international level. He is also an arbitrator and qualified mediator on civil and corporate matters.

Ignacio is also a lecturer in several universities and business schools. He is a co-author of several articles and academic papers.
