Rashid is the managing partner for Andersen in Pakistan. He brings over 40 years of distinguished experience in taxation, assurance, and business advisory. He served PricewaterhouseCoopers for twenty-three years as a partner, including three years as country tax lead for Pakistan and Afghanistan. He was also the founding partner of Coopers & Lybrand in Pakistan.
He expertise includes serving clients from oil and gas exploration and production, telecommunication, and electricity power production sectors.
He is involved in the macro-level shaping of fiscal policy and regulations for the government of Pakistan including as a member of advisory committees, the Prime Minister's Inspection Commission, and the seven-member committee of the FBR to supervise drafting of the new Inland Revenue code.
He also served as vice president (2013–2014) and council member (2013–2017) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He was also the president of the Tax Bar.
